Leadership Development

Leadership Development is a program designed to provide participants with an understanding of individual leadership style, and cognitive preferences. Quantitative and qualitative assessments, based on self and multiple rater observations., are used to provide a robust foundation for development. Exercises that engage the whole brain (right and left) provide multiple opportunities for learning and skill building.

  • Multiple sessions: 2 two-day sessions, spanning 3-6 months

Values Alignment:

Values Alignment provides each participant with a confidential, individual values report based on the Values Perspective survey. The program provides for both an understanding of that individual report and the opportunity for teams and organizations to clarify and align members. The program does not prescribe any ideal model or set of values, but works  with groups as they are actually composed.

Creativity in Business

Creativity In Business is a program designed to lead participants to insights about two basic questions: Who is my Self? And, What is my Work? CiB provides skills which become tools that can be utilized in daily life to leverage one’s natural creativity. This program was originally designed and taught by Dr. Michael Ray, Professor Emeritus,StanfordUniversity, where it was offered for more than 25 years.

  • Individual coaching for participants occurs weekly between sessions and as a final session follow up.

Fanning The Flames

Fanning The Flames is a mythologically based development program that draws on non-traditional methods of investigation and depth psychology applied to personal exploration. Participants are invited to bring any challenge, personal or professional to the program to work on. An atmosphere of respect and safety ensures that participant share only information with which they are comfortable.

Storytelling

Storytelling is a recognized art of leadership, the means by which team and organizational cultures are maintained over time and across distances. Participants will be provided with real-time coaching and skills development.

Coaching For Managers

Coaching For Managers provides a set of pragmatic coaching skills that are presented and practiced in real-time during the program. Participants engage in role-plays built on actual organizational situations, and receive immediate feedback from peer-coaches and facilitators. During the interim periods, every skill is applied as fits each pearticipant’s situation. Interim coaching is an integral part of the program.

Individual Coaching

  • Individual Coaching is a one-on-one process that starts with needs assessment and usually some assessment of values and cognitive preferences (E.g., Values Perspective, MBTI, FIRO-B) and continues with an ongoing dialogue between coach and client regarding important challenges and opportunities for development. This process draws on a wide range of possible assessments and exercises, as the need arises. However it is always based in behavioral objectives, and provides frequent opportunities for clarification to ensure that goals are being met in productive ways.

  • Multiple meetings or calls of about an hour (weekly or bi-monthly), usually spanning 3-6 months. Shorter designs are available.

Cultural Values Assessment

The Cultural Values Assessment is not a program, but is a confidential assessment service that utilizes several types of software, and is based on the Values Perspective theory developed by Kairios. The outcome of this assessment is an in-depth report of the values that underlie the communication and behavior of an organization. It is unobtrusive, Only the contracting client is aware of its process or results.
